Bread Pudding

Notes: Try scalding milk next time.

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cut the bread in inches squares and toast them for about 4 minutes (not allow them to burn).
  3. In a separate bowl mix the milk, the eggs, and the spices.
  4. Prepare crumble topping by mixing sugar and flour, then cutting in butter with fork.
  5. Soak the bread with egg and milk mixture.
  6. Spread soaked bread into 9x9 buttered dish and top with crumble topping.
  7. Cook until center reaches 156°F. ~30-40 minutes.
  8. Allow to sit for 10 minutes before serving.
