Chili Sauce

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F or heat skillet.
  2. Spread chilis in a single layer on a baking sheet and roast for 5 minutes or toast for 30 seconds on skillet. Chilis will become bitter if burned.
  3. Allow to cool and deseed.
  4. Add chilis and water to pot and bring to boil.
  5. Optionally roast onion and garlic.
  6. Allow rehydrated chilis to cool and then puree in blender along with onions and garlic if using.
